Each round plays a short clip from a Pokémon soundtrack and shows four games. All four options are the same kind of track, such as four gym leader battle themes or four town themes, so you have to recognize the game itself, not just the situation.
Categories include trainer battles, gym leader battles, champion battles, legendary battles, villain team battles, towns and cities, and routes. You get one locked-in answer, revealed together after 15 seconds or once everyone has answered.
Every correct player scores 80 points minus 4 for every second taken, with a minimum of 16. There are 10 rounds per match, and a track never repeats in the same room.
